This is an opportunity to take on a broad and meaningful management role in a values-based not for profit, where people and culture are central to the organisation’s impact. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, supporting a dedicated workforce that delivers essential services across Tasmania.
This role offers a unique mix of operational and strategic work. You will lead the full employee lifecycle, provide trusted advice on employee and industrial relations matters, and support managers to build capable, engaged and supported teams. You will also play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting SASS’s growth through contemporary human resource systems.
As part of a small and collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to shape how people and culture supports the organisation’s purpose, while remaining close to the day-to-day work and relationships that make a difference.
You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of human resource functions. You are practical, approachable and values-driven, with the confidence to provide clear advice and the ability to build strong, respectful relationships.
