SASS provides counselling, advocacy and support services for Southern Tasmanian survivors of sexual violence. We also work with anyone else affected within this region, including family, friends and support people.
The state-wide 24 hour crisis response service 1800 697 877 will automatically direct you to your nearest support service.
SASS provides a state-wide, free and confidential support service for people who are seeking information on or wanting to apply to the National Redress Scheme.

We offer an intervention program for children and adolescents who engage in problematic sexual behaviour (PSB) or Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) across the state of Tasmania. We are currently accepting referrals for free access to this program for children aged up to and including 17 years.
We assist professionals via state-wide training, awareness raising and telephone debriefing/support.
Our team also supports the community by providing specialist submissions to public policy and media influence.
