In July 2023 the Federal Attorney General, the Hon Mark Dreyfus KC MP released a series of guides that support responsible reporting on child sexual abuse and empower victims and survivors who are engaging with media.
The media release can be viewed online here and notes that the media has an important role to play in breaking the silence on child sexual abuse.
