Sexual Assault Support Service Inc (SASS) warmly invites you to Wednesday ‘Open Afternoon’ Information Sessions 2012
The aim of these ‘Open Afternoons’ is to offer members of the community an opportunity to meet our staff, view our premises, gain an insight as to how we provide counselling and support to our clients, and to share information in relation to Sexual Assault issues.
‘Galileo House’ Open Afternoon Sessions will be held on Wednesday 4 April 2012 & 4 July 2012, from 3.30pm – 4.45pm, at 73 Federal Street, North Hobart
‘Melaleuca House’ Open Afternoon Sessions will be held on Wednesday 2 May 2012 & 1 August 2012, from 3.30pm – 4.45pm, at 97 Campbell Street, Hobart
- These sessions are free
- Bookings are essential as numbers are limited.
The Open Afternoon program includes:
- The effects of sexual assault on children, adolescents and adults
- How SASS supports children, adolescents and their families/carers.
- How SASS supports adult victims of recent sexual assault in relation to Police and medical examinations
- SASS 24/7 service
- Referral and assessment process's
- A tour of the building with question time
